Darth Vader….ordained?
Odd how in the interest of being “pastoral” there are no sermons on contraception or sodomy, few sermons on abortion, and no actions toward “catholic” politicians who promote the killing of the unborn and sodomitic marriage… but when it comes to the Latin Mass, it’s apastoral, downright cruel.
Conspiracy theorist could wildly crawl out on a limb and bark; One World Religion. New World Order. The Reset is On. Dissolve Traditions. Down with Nationalism/Patriotism.
It’s very sad that some in authority positions are eager to feed the barking lunatic.
What’s fair is foul and what’s foul is fair.
Celebrating diversity, in relationship to actively commiting sin and leading others to sin, is no cause for celebration, but cause for repentance.
I saw a photo of Pope Francis wearing a rainbow cross recently. Personally, the pastoral outreach to fringe faithful might just find that cross as a bridge to communion with God. Great. As long as the formation of the individual is anchored in Solid theology. If it isn’t, then the invite is disingenuous.
Sin no more.
What an arrogant person this Cardinal Wilton Gregory and his show of contempt for those who dare to question him shows how far his head up his own backside.
As a side – I read on his Wikipedia page (admittedly not the most reliable) that he decided he wanted to become a priest before he converted to Catholicism. How does that work? Knowing you want to be a servant of the Faith without fully understanding what you are signing up for…that’s a red flag right there and it’s served him well in climbing the ranks. That’s disturbing.
Cardinal Gregory is an Affirmative Action cardinal.
